Default Helping a 3.4 Breathe Easier.

Ok so as some of you have seen in my progress thread, I just bought a K&N CAI. I already have a Magnaflow High-Flow Catalytic Converter and a Z28 dual exhaust. I am wanting to know what kind of elbow you guys recommend to stick between my TB and my CAI. Also, will a LT1 TB bolt up to my 3.4? What else can I do to help my 3.4 breathe a little better? I know I need to look into headers. I have some picked out. Advice is greatly appreciated

I'm doing the same as you. I'm going to buy an elbow of the same chrome piping that my CAI has and join them. And no, the LT1 throttle body won't bolt up to the 3.4L. The holes going to the intake are completely different.

Chaotic go with a set of ceramic coated pace setters, they look nice, help disperse heat better, and they look nicer. This is the only way I've seen a lt1 tb attached to the plenum:

I don't think one is made for the 3.4l. You could get one custom made from an exhaust shop or maybe buy a universal 90* bend and cut it to the length you need.

The engine bay in that green car looks like hell just ran through there. One would think that when you do something custom like that you would make sure things are a little cleaner and not so jumbled. Just my $.02

That center section of pipe, between the two red fittings, looks like aluminum clothes dryer vent (I can tell by the split seam).
