i have a 91 v6 camaro with a 3.1 , my friend lost my keys so i just changed the whole steering column because i had a spare one. now the security light stays on and the injectors are not pulsing. i am getting fire and fuel pressure but no pulse from the injectors what so ever. i just want to bypass the v.a.t.s. i guess but i don't know how. people said find the resistor of the same size as my key and jump the two wires. that's a problem though because i don't have the original key anymore. another guy said there are only 15 different resistor sizes that gm used, but i dont know what those 15 different ones are. please help i would greatly appreciate it

 

yes, they are all different. you would have to have GM measure the actual key to find out as far as i know. then get a resistor from radio shack and wire it in there.
