Default Heater Is Weak

Hey everyone. So I've noticed that my heat sucks. Absolutely sucks. It blows air that isn't warm enough to warm up the car. I'd say the air it's blowing is about 40 degrees. Better than the 0 degrees outside but still. It should be blowing hotter air than that. Any ideas?

Could be low in coolant or a clogged hose going to or from the heater core. Check your coolant level and if it's good then get a garden hose, remove the hoses leading to the heater core from the block and try flushing it out.

Hey, that "mechanic in a can" fixed my head gaskets 6 months ago. And my car still runs like a champ! $30 vs $800. Hmmmm I'll take $30!!!

I flushed the heater core. The coolant has been bled. New thermostat. I'm clueless...

^ heh, heh, mechanic in a can. Feel your supply and return heater hoses and see if they get hot. If not, you've got a flow restriction. Or possibly the control valve isn't working.

The heater control valve is looked on the hot water hose going to the heater core. How long does it take for your engine to reach temperature? Could be your thermostat stuck open even tho it's only a few months old.

once the fix leak sets up your not gona flush it out. your heater core is most likely blocked up.

But I flushed the heather core and the water came out the other side with the same amount of pressure and was completely clean
