lookin to install headers an y pipe in my 98 v6.. how hard is it to get to the exhaust manifolds an take them off? do i have to take out the engine or can i jus get under the cxar an unbolt an pull them out? right now i have magnaflow exhaust will heaers an y pipe connect to this exhaust an can i possible remove my cats as well?

 

you can get the headers out with out yanking the motor, and dont cut out the cat... bad idea... check engine light will be on forever... but headers will make it sound pretty good on that 3.8, i got some on mine, they dont have the sound of a real V8 but they do sound pretty good...

 

Yes, keep the cats. Actually help power with the computer.
