alright, i'm dying to get my hands on a z28, lt1 or ls1, it doesn't matter as long as it's a six speed. i saw a 93 z28 yesterday in the parking lot that looks identical to my v6. so i asked the guy how much. he's wanting 7000 for it, and he's not advertising, so i can take my time on buying it. my car has 177xxx miles right now, but runs perfect, aside from needing a fuel pump. i was planning on getting a job and also using my graduation money from my dad to do alot of crap to my car, (cold air, better spark plugs, etc.), but i'm thinking about selling my car for about 4000 and buying the z28 that only has 55xxx miles. i could save 3 grand then sell my car and have me a z28 that's basically new.i'm not too sure, but i think 7 grand is pretty fair considering the miles.

i'm gonna try to, but i'm gonna have to work pretty hard to get a couple thousand bucks.he said he's content with it now, and i'm really the only person who's even asked about it. i offered to trade mine and add a little cash extra, and he almost did it because mine is cheaper on gas, but he said he needed a truck. as far as looks go, mine is better, and i think that's why he almost traded. his doesn't look bad at all, it's just 3 years older, so it just needs a new paint job, or maybe even just buffed. but i could care less about looks, as long as that v8 runs it doesn't matter.

High price for the first 4th gen year model. Also, high miles, and the fuel pump would not make for a good first project on a new car.
I'd say no. Anything worth having is worth waiting for.

I misread the original post! I apologize.
Regardless, a 1993 LT1 Camaro, IMO, is simply not worth that. A good buddy of mine just sold his 1997 Camaro with many mods and had just under 100,000 miles on it. He sold it for $5,000 cash. As I said, if you really want a Z28, like most of us here, wait. Browse for the perfect one. I am currently doing the same. I know I could have had at least a good shot at about 5 or so, but I'm waiting to find the one I will truly experience the fun with. My mind is set in a 1998+ Z28 with <70,000 miles. And I will find it :P
