Default Going to sell my 96 Camaro need help again!

Okay so I found me a 98 SS Im going to buy and all I need to do now is sell me v-6. Ive had tons of people look at it but im tired of waiting so Im going to take it to a car dealer and sell it to them. Ikno I wont get as much but I dont wanna get totally screwed by them. WHat is a good starting price to ask for and what should be the lowest I go. INFO ON CAR. 146,600 MILES, new paint in October(however the only downside to the car is that the inside door jams and inside the back hatch are not painted) automatic trans, runs great shifts great, no body damage, good interior, dual flowmaster exhaust, and new tune up. Okay guys what should I go in asking for, my buggest worry is the door and hatch jams not bein painted. I didnt feel like paying an extra grand to get them done.

expect a used car dealer to only give you $1000 for the car. They will turn and list it for around $5000. You think you get screwed when you buy from them? LOL yea sell to them and see how you feel when they are done with you. Just be patient and sell it on CL or autotrader.

Sorry, but "selling a car to a dealer", and "not getting screwed", doesn't go in the same sentence.

These guys are right on the money. Walk ins that sell their car will get less then Auction value. Most people that are selling cars like this are dumping a problem and dealers will assume that. With 146K on the clock the car is $1200-$1500 max at the auction. With the paint "not being right" it would auction for at or less then $1000. They will most likely offer you 800ish.
