Gas tank slow to fill
#11
I just looked into it a little more, and your fuel tank filler tube has its own vent built in. It also has a spring-loaded stop-valve and an overfill prevention valve.
The overfill prevention valve ensures that only vapor goes to the canister. The stop valve actuates when a float reaches a certain height, and simulates the pressure that the gas pump looks for as a shut-off pressure. The vent runs along the length of the tube and is enclosed under the cap (look for a small hole, usually under the fill hole).
If you have the SES light showing, look at my previous post to figure it out. Otherwise, you probably need a new filler tube.
