Is the fuel pump trap door hole cut the same on v6's and v8's before 99 when they switched to plastic tanks? Been reading for hours and cant find something specific.

Thanks for the quick reply. Brother and i cut a trap door and replaced the pump in a couple hours (if that). Cost 190 for the pump from advanced. Local shop was going to charge 1150 for the usual method, (diagnosis included). Paid 100 to my brother for the cut and r/r.
