Fuel pump recomendations
I am putting a 3.4 SFI engine into my Jeep Cherokee which has the 2.8 60 degree engine. Anyway The 2.8 is a carbed set up and has a manual fuel pump. I am going to run the SFI set up so I am going to need a different fuel pump. An electric higher pressuer in line pump. Do you guys have any recomendations? In my Haynes manual it says that with the key on but not running the pressure should be 41 to 47 psi and at idol it should be about 3 to 10 psi less. So what specs should I be looking for on a fuel pump? Do I not need one that can handle over 47 psi? Any help is appreciated. Again, I am going to run this in line, it will not be an in tank pump.

I believe all electric fuel pumps can handle/obtain that pressure, though some will deliver more flow at that pressure. Check out that link. Walbro makes some good pumps. I would think the 190 LPH would suffice, but I'm no system expert by any means. I know others will chime in, and it would be best to get as much input as you can.

I have a walbro 255 in my supercharged maxima and I have never had a problem with it. I am fine with the walbro pumps I just need to know which one to get. Where can I find the information about how much flow I need for the the 3.4?
