Default Fuel pump

So I needed to replace my fuel pump so I ordered one off of ebay and it said it was compatible and every other fuel pump that came up for '95 camaro' was the same so I bought it and it arrived today. I popped open the hatch and began cutting like in the video. I pulled the pump assembly out but where the pump should be is a bigger yellow thing. Is the silver pump inside?

It also came with these rubber hose rings, if I cut them they make the new hoses to attach to the new pump?

It came with the same strainer bag(whatever it's called forgot) but this one is a little smaller and green

So is there a way to get the yellow thing open? because I looked around online and no 4th gen camaro pump is yellow like that. and when I look inside the yellow thing I can see what looks like the top of my new pump.

there should be a set of clips that you can open the yellow thing with. but yes your pump is inside that, its just there to hold it and protect the pump

The bag thing is a filter, I just helped a friend with a pump and it had a filter like that, just a little smaller on his car.
