I am noticing my camaro (95 3.4 AT) has a flat spot in the throttle from 2500-3500 rpms. when i get on it, it seems to bog down a little and doesnt really have much power until it gets past 3000-3500 rpms. i just put new plug wires in it and changed the oil, and also added a cone filter. it just doesnt seem to have much power in the 2500-3500 rpm range, any ideas on what could be causing this? when i really get on it and let off the check engine light comes on, if i get on it hard and slowly let off the light WONT come on and in normal driving it doesnt come on, only when i let off fast. whats the problem?

 

it's a 3.4...not meant to be fast, that's what V8's are for

SES light problem, wierd, not sure

EGR may be hanging open at WOT instaed of closing, & brings up SES lite. Get the car scanned for active and retained codes.

 

naw...3.8's are HO...there fast as hell

i never really said it was fast or i wanted to make it faster but it just seems like its bogging down, i just want to make it run like it should.... fast or not, i bought it for the looks
