Exhaust Review Thread
This is a thread for exhausts members have on their cars... I'm tired of seeing 90 million exhaust threads every week asking the same thing.
Here's a little form... Or you can post in paragraph form like myself and Gorn did.
Brand/Series:
Type: (Y-pipe, true duals [X, H, straight])
Exhaust note rating: 1-10
Performance: 1-10
Comments:
Once we get some exhaust reviews up, we can start directing people to this thread rather than saying the same **** over and over. Exhaust is particular to certain people. Some people like some things, others like others.
If you have a video, you're welcome to include it of course.

96-3.8/5 speed
I have OBX stainless headers and Y pipe, stock converter with a flow master Cat back.
Headers
I really like the headers. I have had them on for about 15K/8 months. The install was pretty straight forward. The Bolts they supplied just where not long enough. I quick trip to the hardware store for some new stainless bolts fixed that. Also I used the EGR valve and mount from the 02 engine I had just because it seem to fit better. They started off almost chrome but after use got this gold color to them.
Flowmaster Cat back.
This system came with the car. It has a great tone at low RPMs and gets real raspy at higher RPMs.
I will most likely upgrade to the Magnaflow Cat back and Hiflow Cat this summer. The flowmaster is rusting pretty bad. I will update this thread once it is done.
Current tone at low RPMs

Pacesetter headers and Y-pipe, catless, with mandrel bent 2.75" piping back to a Flowmaster 40 series single in dual out.
This exhaust is very very loud with the setup I have. At idle it sounds amazing and sounds sick to 3000 RPMs and then it rasps like nothing else. I don't mind the rasp too much because it's got a deeper tone than a ricer exhaust but it's still a little much haha. But I can't help but love the low end sound. Considering I don't spend much time over 3k, I don't mind.
Performance is about the same as a Magnaflow catback.
