Default Is it even worth it?

Like I said I'mstill young and in high schoolso I don't have much money, but I saved up enough through a summer job to get a 97 RS. My question is: Is the V6 even worth tryin to get speed and power out of? I've read the posts where the guys with the V8's need5 or 6 grandto hit 10's.. so it would probably cost double for me. Should I just keep my eyes out for SS or Z28 or should I try making it rumble with just the V6?I was thinking twin turbo with a 100 or 150 shot.. or maybe a supercharger with the same shot?

the RS's come with ground effects... either way the 3.8 is a very safe, reliable motor. yes it can be done, but do u realize how UN reliable and how much money it would cost to do this? i mean even with a supercharger it will only hit a high 14... and a supercharger is at least $3500 for that motor.

just keep it for what it is...maybe put some exhaust to make it sound a bit better but it will be alot of work to make it fast

Yeah I still really love it, so fun to drive. I actually bought it with exhaust too, so it sounds really nice. Thanks for your help though man, maybe when I win the lottery I'll make it into a monster.

Haha If I won the big cash I might as well go for the Veyron. Not many people driving those around I'd suspect

the3.8L can be made a fast motor as stated above it takes work and time.... now as far as is it worth it ......lots of people say no ......all kinda depends on your situation for me i got a great deal on a 97 3.8 and it only had 20k milage on it ive put on about another 14 in a year and half but for me paying 5 grand for car with that low milage even i have to spend other 5 grand in mods to be equal with a LS1 V8 then i still saved about 4 grand on a and have a much newer motor now if you v6 has higher milage on it well it may just be smart to get an 8
