Engine interchange

Will 3800 series II from a 2000 camaro fit in a 96 camaro with a 3800 series II?

The only thing that are different is the intake so you would have to swap out the upper intake

intake manifold, throttle body, and exhaust manifolds. check out a thread called Project 96. Gorn talks about what he could use and such

Link is below, There is another member putting in 2000 in a 97. Its pretty much the same project as yours. He has the add complication of not having the PCM for the orginal 97.
