I left my haynes at my cousins, can anyone tell me where its located. I dont really know what one looks like on camaro, thanks

Removing the EGR does not add or remove power because a properly working EGR valve is closed at WOT, and also at idle. The EGR opens onlyat part throttle to allow some exhaust gas into the intake. This is done mainly to lower NOx emission, and it also allows more part throttle spark advance for better fuel economy. A stuck open EGR will cause hard starting and poor idle, and some loss of power at WOT.

Look at your driver's side header. You will see a connection on it towards the front of the engine. Kind of look like flex conduit. If you follow it, it goes to your intake. All that is what you looking at. Although you can figure out is the valve.
