Emergency Brake Light >.<

Emergency Brake Light >.<
Hey guys,
I've got a problem with my emergency brake, nothing major, but the light is starting to drive me insane.
The light will flicker on and off going 50+ or on any bumpy road.
I'm betting its just a cable that may be tangled or flexed weird.
Whats the best way to tackle this problem? Also, where would this cable be located?
P.S. '98 v6 3.8l if you need specs.
Love,
Ryan.

Thanks very much for the post, man you're just everywhere =P
I checked my master cylinder and theres no sign of leaks, and its plenty full.
I do use my emergency brake often, my mom's house is on a hill, but I've made sure its all the way down (that I can push anyway)
I'm not sure how old the brakes are, but I haven't noticed them squeaking yet, I've had this car almost a year now and it might be something to look into.
