I'm planning on buying a used one, but I thought I'd try to clean up the old one after the used one is installed. If the used one works, good to go, but I still want to clean the old one. I thought I'd just soak the base in some sort of solvent for a few days and then scrub it good. Any suggestions on the best substance to soak it in?
