Default Eclipse GT vs Camaro V6 Loss

I just raced a '04 mitsubishi eclipse GT and lost by like a car length. It was REALLY GAY he even had a potato launcher exhaust that sounded like a fart. My camaro has a Flowmaster catback exhaust and hypertech programmer and SLP thermostat. does any 1 no ABOUT how much HP I am puttin out?

No more than a stock 3.8L. Or not enough to notice. Really.

Mitsu = smaller car, 5 more horsepower, SOHC engine with better revability....less parasitic loss being a FWDer....it wasn't meant to be for the F-body.

Sure, the ricer is, well, a ricer, but you have to know what fights to pick.

my girlfriend was looking to get a 06' eclipse gt. Those things are putting out pretty decent horsepower, 260 I believe. I'll ruin her though when I finally get my ls1.

edit: question, I know mustang gt's are putting out about 260 horsepower, now is that flywheel or rwhp? thanks

i think that is to the wheels but i am not to sure about that because that 4.6 liter V8 isnt that fast. I raced a 1995 Stang GT wit a 4.6 and lost by like one car length. I didn't lose that bad.

The 95 GT's have 5.0s in them, the 4.6 started in 96.

But doenst the V6 for the camaro, isnt it suppose to range in HP from 200-225 becuase I raced a green 95 Mustang GT as well he took off the time first but we were side by side the entire time.

They had 215 hp but they had 285 tq, so they should edge a v6 camaro out...i think there lighter too, im not sure....You should be side by side by him because that car is around 11 years old.
