E85 in my 3.4 camaro

Well, I was low on gas andI pull into the gas look over and E 85.. I was scare to put that stuff in and what the hell I fill it up the top.. I drove for 35 miles on highway 75 with no problem & then I when on the back roads & put it to an 105 mph with no problem.. I like this stuff so far..
Anyone for or against E85 ???

Considering that your car is NOT desgned to run E85, I would advise against it. You probably did'nt hurt anything just this once, but continued use will damage the fuel system and could harm the engine. Only cars that are Flex Fuel Vehicles are made to run on E85.

Ethanol is very corrosive -- avoid at all costs -- there are stories in S. America with major problem of corrosiveness on engine parts... do your homework.

plus if you do the math, it is cheaper per gallon but your MPG go down if you use it. So it doesnt only hurt your engine & hurt performence, it also cost you more money. I see no point in E85, it probly wont last much longer.

in brazil thats all they use and there gas is 85 cents a gallon. and it's not that much diff from moonshine realy. i'm all for it, if you use it right
