You might want to unbolt the support from the trans and get it connected to the rear then the support becomes a big lever you can get into position.

Yea I measured the old and new rear and they look like they should fit fine maybe I just need to position it better I just dint want to force it . Worst case scenario I can buy one for $20.

sooo true. i just put a 340lph pump in the tank and cut an access panel to never go through that crap again. im also very happy that the pump came with a sound eliminator!
