driveshaft

Default driveshaft

hey my drive shaft is kinda shot, the center where its joined is kindda coming apart and since its loose it hits wen it rotates i need a new one where can i get one?? 95 3.4 firebird manual

Just get an aluminum one from an LS1. Alot lighter and, pretty easy install.

If you dont wanna dish out the money for an aluminum one, you can buy a steel one off of a ls1 from ebay for 80$ if you get lucky. I highly recommend swapping to the 1 piece (ls1) driveshaft though.

so even though its a diff tranny and model the ls1 will swap in? are they the same for auto and manual or is the ls1 and 3.4 same tranny thanks guys

I have a manual v6 and an automatic ls1 slipped right in and bolted right on, no issues. They are the same length and have the same pattern teeth so yea, i cant imagine why you would have any issues.
What year car do you have? ill check and make 100% sure for ya.

They are all the same. You can get an aluminum one for cheap. I think mine was like $100.

I got my steel one piece for $25, it's pretty light actually.
