Default Door ajar switch/sensor?

Hey guys.... Just purchased a Camaro a few weeks ago and have a few small problems that I'm trying to find the answers to.

1st: I seem to have a short somewhere thats causing my radio to not turn off. Im sure its not the radio as I have tried leaving my interior lights on then opening the door and I don't get that "ding ding" warning letting me know that I left my lights on. Any idea where this switch is located?

2nd: I am also having problems with my locks not locking all the way with either my key fob or electronic lock button. Some times it works.... sometimes it doesn't. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

is that a aftermarket radio? Maybe someone wired it hot. Perhaps your locks need to be replaced, thats what happened to mine they became intermittent and sluggish.

Like what Rachel said, sounds like whoever wired your radio has the radio turn on wired to constant 12v. Easy fix as long as they didn't chop the wiring harness behind said radio... then it becomes an issue unless your handy with a voltmeter & have wiring information.

And the locks do wear out over time. Seen a lot of these cars where they barely work if not at all. Ebay is a good source for new door locks.

Just tried unlocking and opening the door with the key instead of the remote and noticed the interior light didn't come on. Definitely a problem with the door switch/sensor. Anyone have any ideas what I need to do next? Location and replacement? Thanks!

I cant seem to find these dang connectors anywhere... it looks like (in the 3 pic you posted) they are located on the frame of the car between where the door bolts on and where the wires go from the car to the door. Sorry if Im a noob but I cant seem to figure it out. Any other suggestions?
