Depends on the antifreeze. Some come premixed, some need mixing. The instructions on the jug should tell you. Unless you need to know the capacity which should be in your owners manual.

I'd stick with the full strength 'green' antifreeze. You will need one part antifreeze to one part water. So for every gallon jug of antifreeze, use one jug of water.

like stated above, read the directions on the bottle...

also, ditch the dex-cool 'orange' coolant and use the green stuff

We have a 3 gallon capacity, so 1.5 gallons of antifreeze, 1.5 gallons of water should be exactly right

Like usarmyrangrs said, we have a 3 gallon capacity. 1.5 antifreeze and 1.5 water. However, you are suppose to use the red antifreeze. (GM Dexcool). That is what our cars call for. Do not use the green stuff.

Sure, it calls for the dexcool, but that doesn't make it superior. Prediluted antifreeze, where it may be more ecofriendly, is not so friendly within your cooling system. The green antifreeze is not as harsh at all. Every last automotive instructor I have encountered has said one thing and one thing only: REPLACE DEXCOOL ASAP!

For the sake of your cooling system and components, switch to green. Don't mix, however. Completely flush.
