Question D/S Window Motor or Switch?

I havent been able to role my window up or down in over a year on my 95-V6. An figured it was more then time to fix the problem. Before going dead completely it would move up or down about an in. or 2. Then one day just stopped. I had assumed it was the motor. But I keep being told "I would have know if it was the motor", "It would have made noise"; and things of that nature. So I figured its best to ask for your opinion on here.

Also, if anyone is in the Southern Los Angeles area and has a machanic they would recommend for some of my other problems that would be helpful as well.

Process of elimination...1st check to see if you are getting power to the switch,if you are then it would be the motor. If aren't getting power to the switch then it would be something before the switch. They usually don't make noise when they go out, they just slowly die. Hope this helps.

Had same problem the motor is less than $30 and easy to install you'll need to drill out the fasteners that get replaced by nuts & bolts that come with new motor.

If your window was only going an inch or two before, you definitely need at least a new motor regardless.
