Default Couple things i noticed in my 3.8 96 camaro

I dont drive my 96 3.8 Camaro very much, not because i dont like it i actually love it and its my first car and im only 17. So after buying it new tires i decided to take it out for some errands. I usually drive my 98 corolla. I noticed some stuff about my camaro that id like to share. One my camaro actually burnouts way better than i thought. Also that i can kill a 2003 civic, a 93 prelude, some ricey acura, and 2 mustangs v6s 98-04. Obviously i had a fun day. But i noticed that my gas tank is very hard to read my needle goes from empty to half way full depending on the angle on the car and if im flooring it. I was wodering on your guys insight

one of gms great pranks, the angle and shape of the tank and float make it so the dang things are that way, empty at 1/8th tank. at least on both 4th gens i have owned they have. i have learned to think of 3/4 tank as 1/2. notice when its full the gage is way over full. they are great cars though. not sure ill ever own another.

The nice thing is it takes two days for the needle to come off of full!
But then she drops fast from there.

Mine is same way. Going up a hill I "lose" gas, going down I "grow" gas. Take a corner I must be pouring gas straight onto the road. lol Still love it.

Scary stuff, dude.

Don't make a habit out of running from the cops, it would be a mighty lame way to end up in jail at such a young age.

Take her to the track and tear it up there. There, you can do 100 and the only one chasing you will be the honda trying to keep up.
