WOW! Thanks for the info guys! I didnt know about that FRAM part whats so ever. I get everything at Wal-Mart since its so cheap... Now I will upgrade.

I will check in once I get things switched and figured out.

 

K and N filter or royal purple in my opinion is best

 

I started to change to a new oil filter. I am using a K&N oil filter and I have seen the oil pressure go up 15-20 psi. Good stuff!! Thanks guys!

But I still get that damn ticking noise but only for about a minute if I let it warm up.

Where does the clicking noise come from? Have you popped the hood and verified that it's coming from the engine? Or is it coming from inside the car?

Does it only do this when it's COLD outside, or at any temp?

 

It is definately coming from the engine. I will check which side it is coming from.

Anyone live in Southern CA and know of a good mechanic to do lots of work? Hopefully they are reliable, and fairly priced.

I am sure I need a new intake manifold gasket, power steering rack, head gaskets (leaking a tad of oil) and whatever I cant figure out! LOL...
