to each their own.the ebay one isnt exactly the same, and always remember when it comes to car parts, you get what you pay for.The K&N is more open to allow more airflow in and it isnt like the cheap ebay chrome one so it wont heat up and absorb heat. Its a true cold air intake, its farther toward to the ground to pick up air away from the heat of the engine.Check www.jegs.com or www.summitracing.com, you will find one cheaper than $270.Oh and it will pay for it self, most people see atleast 2 mpg in better fuel economy, and yes it will slightly increase your 0-60 times, but dont expect a drastic change.

Get an ebay intake from chrome intakes, with a K&N filter. It'll save you a wad of cash. The diameter of the intakes is more than plenty for an NA engine, a bigger pipe will not give you any noticeable gains. A K&N cold air intake is a nice system, but they are way over-priced for a piece of crappy looking molded plastic that flows just like a $70 ebay intake, you're paying for the name. The chrome intakes take air in in a nice place too, plenty far down to be a great intake.
