That picture is a 98+ engine, maybe the early ones don't have the bracket? I'll go look.

Mine had a bracket, but I took it off. I find it hard to believe that those two nuts are tight, and the coil plate is still loose. Unless for some reason the studs/threads are backed out a little.

I'm thinking that the studs might be backed out too. One of the members on FTV6 has only one bolt holding the ignition module on, and it's fine (been like that for years).
