ok so i used to have a code reader but i think it may have been for obdII but either way it doesnt matter because i seem to have lost it when i moved...who knows what happened to it.
so i was wondering if anyone knew of any programs for computers that i could put on my labtop and buy a plug to read it or maybe any hand held code readers that wont break the bank to buy for a 94 3.4l v6 camaro? maybe give me a link to one or more that would work nicely that has prices

Depends on what you consider "breaking the bank" they are sold by the year of the vehicle it reads, the older the vehicle, the more inexpensive the reader, I saw one for a 1978-1982 models for $29.00, I can buy one for my 2002 Camaro for $89.95 or of course I can buy a bi-lingual model for $199.99
