Now, what makes you think I was picking on you? Just because you said "i actually just failed someone for the same thing haha"?
So if someone comes in for a test with their SES light on, do you still test the car? I thought, here in Illnoise anyway, that the light on was an automatic fail, test no further.

Nevada Law states we are required to test every vehicle as it comes into the shop... which means if he comes in and says i want a test i am required to do the test you are correct every vehicle 96 and newer under a gross vehicle weight of 8499 lbs with the service engine soon light on will automatically fail. i am required to fail him and hand him the paper that said you failed.... the car i failed for that was a pos honda that the kid thought after his pvc intake and headers was a race car haha he deserved to fail
