Check Engine Light Help

Hi all. I tried to scan my 1994 Camaro (3.4L V6) and the check engine light stayed on. I didn't get a Code 12. Does anyone know what the problem might be?

How did you try to scan it? Hope you realize you can't flash out codes in that car.

I used an actron OBD-I scanner that's for my car.

The check engine light will stay on until the problem is fixed. Does the scanner scren show anything?

No, I am not even getting the default code 12 showing that the computer is going into diagnostic mode.
