Default Changing motor mounts on 3.8 because of transmission movement.

I have a 2000 with a 3.8 L in it and I will be changing the motor mounts in it for the first time tonight. I am very mechanically inclined and am just wondering if anyone has done this before? Any tips or tricks would be appreciated. The reason I am changing them is that my 5 speed manual transmission moves excessively whenever I hit a bump it moves vertically up and down quite a bit. I have already replaced the transmission mount when I installed a new clutch last September. I also plan on replacing the u joints. Has anyone else had problems with excessive transmission movement? Mine has always moved a little but has become far worse lately.

I think I may be experiencing a bit of the same -- with age, the rubber in the mounts break down and gets worn... I would replace mine whenever I get around to installing my headers...
