the heat shield on my cat. converter keeps coming unwelded...i dont have a welder and am tired of taking it up to the shop to pay for it to get welded on...
does any one know if its gunna hurt to just rip that damn heat shield off
or will it mess up something?

 

The heat sheild is there for a reason. Take it back and have the welder put it on correctly.
