hey there i just put in a new body control moducle and my car wont start i think i might have to reset me coumputer or something but the starter doesnt even engage does any one how to reset the comp in 99 camaro?

what do u mean wasnt my problem cause i can put my new bcm in and my radio and window and everything works just the car doesnt start

 

you need a obd2 scanner to reset the computer, but that probably isn't your problem, check the chip in your key it might be worn out, it will engage all the electronic stuff in your car but can still not allow your car to start.

 

it could be it but i dont think so cause i just started the car just when i put the original bcm in there and it started right up but when i put the new one in it didnt start
