Car Trips over its self

Default Car Trips over its self

my car trips over itself when driving within the first mile of driving, then the service light kicks on, and the diagnostic says misfire in cylinder 4, what do i do?

Ok seriously, because its specific to cylinder four, check the spark plug, wire... start with the basics. Report back and we'll go from there.

spark plug has been changed in cylinder 4 already, what now?

Did you check the wire? Make sure it is snug on both ends, and that it is not burned anywhere.

okay since i just went through just about all the steps fixing a misfire of my own....


1 plugs

2 wires

3 ignition coil

4 feul injectors

5. fuel filter

6. ignition modulator (thats what was causing mine)

7.compression test (lets hope you dont have to go here cus internal work aint cheap)
