Car stuttering
#12
So new coil packs. Did nothing. Runs smoother tho. New tps as The code reader said it was bad a few weeks ago. But it still stutters. Sounds like it's being starved. Fuel pump primes up before start so I'm thinking that's good. Injectors all sound like there spraying. So that leaves the fuel filter. Is there any other part that's part of the ignition system? Spark plug wires are all good. Going to have a code reader tomorrow night so I'll run it with that to check all the systems while driving.

The code was p0102 mass air flow/ volume low circuit. Just took it for a drive connected to the computer and every thing was working but the maf would say .200 lb/pm with it revving up and sometimes would range up to 3.00lb/pm. Is there any other system connected to the maf?

Im not sure exactly which are the best brand cp's for the cammy but im sure if you search "coilpacks" under v6 then youll find some ppl who posted in older/similiar threads about the best kinds.
in my opinion honestly just do a little searching and see the average pricing and reviews..go for the bit pricey-er ones because you wouldnt want the sameproblem to occur because you tried saving a few bucks. from my experience when i paid a lil more for parts it usually turned out for the best.

Glad you found the issue. After seeing the code I was gonna suggest a new MAF, and the data you were getting also suggested a bad maf as well.
If you are still interested in the coils then I would look into the MSD coils, they are great for everything from all around driving to high performance. They put out about the same amount of power so you dont have to mess with the plug gap but they have a faster recovery rate so they will handle higher RPMs than the factory ones can. The BWD Select coils are cheaper and offer pretty good performance for the $$$, but they are more of an OEM replacement, not a performance replacement.
