Car overheats... Kind of
#12
Well I definitely do not believe my fans are coming on. Gauge was pegged in the red on my way home yesterday and there was that "rut roh, something is burning" smell going on. The heat would NOT work, so I could do nothing to cool this car off. I had the coolant flushed twice--once when I bought it and once about late July (when they claimed there was no way it was actually flushed the first time). I'm going to take it in today, have them do a pressure test, check my sensors, fuses, yadda yadda. I sure hope this isn't a million dollar fix.

there are little brass screws that u lossen to let the air out of the system. one on the thermostat cover, one on the bottom of the tb and one inline by the alternator. there are a few threads on here about it. u will want to park the car on a hill with the front of the car up, helps alot to get the air to move. when the car is not up to operating temp open the radiator cap and fill with fluid 1/2 water 1/2 antifreez. open the bleed valves untill u have fluid coming out then close. the highest one by the alt may not allow fluid out untill latter. so then start the car and bleed again, this is when u should get fluid from the valve by the alt. refill the radiator close up and drive a few blocks down the road come back and bleed and refill once more.
