Or even Higher? ( a friend said I can make it a 4.2 but I dont believe him ) with out Swapping out the actual 3.4L ? My friend who owns a NICE *** 5.7 tune port injection 85 z28 said I could with out Swapping out the engine...What will I have to switch how much would it cost what would I need etc...Thanks...
I hate the fact that I have a (3.slow) Camaro compared to all my other friends and I would like to Swap the v6 for a 350 or something but That would take too much time/money and I dont know all that much about Camaros But I'm tryin to Learn!

 

I haven't heard or read anything about 3.4 strokers. I know there is one for the 3.8 --> 4.2 stroker. There are plenty of posts about v6 to v8 swaps that you might try searching. Of course some of the post ****** will chime in also so you won't have to search.

 

I don't know of any stroker kits myself. But you can always bore the block. But that requires pulling out the motor anyway. Then getting different pistonsandsuch.At that point you may as well swap for aV-8 anyway, or do a lot more work to the motor while it's out.

 

The 3.8's are already bored out from the 3.4's

Let me rephrase that.

The L36 is a 3.4 liter motor, stroked out to 3.8. Better?

 

L32 - 3.4 is a 60 degree V
L36 - 3.8 is a 90 degree V
