Default Camshaft

Ok i want to purchase a new camshaft, i am going to buy it from comp cams, but i saw that there are different types with different things like the "Valve lift" and "Lobe sep. Angle." If someone could explain what that is and what would be best that would be great. Also are there any other parts i need to buy when i buy a camshaft?

Pay no mind to him. Every one of his answers ends with a dot dot dot... And none of them provide any help. You don't need rockers to support the cam, but they will help the valvetrain that much smoother. Valvesprings would be something I would recommend. Are you dead set on getting one from Comp Cams? I can show you a couple that lots of people have and are very happy with.

Why do you want a new camshaft?
My guess is you want more power,a camshaft alone will make little to no difference by itself.
What you need is a complete performance package, what cam to use is determined by what other parts you have in the package.
Making more power costs money and it needs to be spent wisely or it will be a waste.
By a package I mean components that compliment each other and work well together, for example you need to modify the intake and exhaust, how radical you go with your mods on the intake/exhaust/ignition etc will determine how radical of a cam you need.
The wrong parts mixed together will not perform as you had hoped making for a big disappointment after spending all that money.
What you need is a proven package,a good tuner can tell you what works and what doesn't,they know from doing trial and error research till they get it right what works best so your best bet is to use one of their proven formulas.
It won't be cheap but it will be money spent wisely, just tossing in a cam and later adding other random bolt ons is not the best way to get the most bang for your buck and a cam by itself isn't going to get you much at all.
Save your money and do it right, just my 2cts.

You need ignition? I never understood, but I'm sure you can help me. How come you need ignition for performance as long as your stock one is running fine?

Stronger spark means a more complete burn which means more power.

And work on the bolt ons first. Full exhaust headers and back, intake, driveshaft, gears, then you can worry about a cam... Even then, you'll want to port your heads and intakes first to get the most out of a cam.
