Hey im new with cars and i jus bought my 94 camaro and yes its a v6 n i get **** about it all the time. But i wanted to know if there was anyway i could get that pshhhhhhh sound after shifts without getting a turbo? my friend told me it was the wastegate but im not sure if hes right? what can i do to get the sound im looking for

 

A wastegate is a valve that releaves excess pressure from a supercharger or Turbo. If You don't have either, then You do not have a wastegate.
