I got a quick questions does anyone know what the fasted time a camaro 2.8 auto can do a quarter mile in. And also the top speed it has, i know the spedometer only goes up to 140 but i know it can be barried, I just gunna grab an RPM Guage to see what rpms im running at when my needle is barried. Or another question could a stock Camaro 2.8 auto take a 1990 Honda civic si with a new si motor in it. Just a couple curious questions. Please help me out thanks

itll do a 1/4 mile in about the same

I could only get a 16.1 quarter mile out of my car(check my sig), and thats with a sohc(dynoed @ 114whp 103wtq)...

a 90 civic Si weighs about the same as mine but he has a B16 which is rated at like 160hp to the crank, and from the ones I have seen, on a light vehicle, little things like intake, header, and an exhaust respond very well... The 4th gen civics with B16s that I have seen run high 13's to mid 14's depending on the driver...

camaro2.8 if you do race this civic empty everything out of your car.
Hopefuly for you he has an auto aswell to even the odds.

I don't know where your getting 140 from. I have an 89 2.8 manual and it only says 115, and i've only been able to get it right at the 115 spot no further. I haven't ever really kept it going that fast though cause there always seems to be a car coming or going. The worst part about it is i used to have an 89 corolla gts 4 BANGER that could do 125, but if anyone else rode with me it would be pretty hard to hit even 115
