i was wondering if a camaro 93-00 can beat a evo im mainly talkin about an automatic camaro but you can tell me about manual 2

 

if its a v-8 more than likely

 

from 93-97 were talking about a LT1 285 horse and 300 torque for a evo thats gonna be a good race.running from a dig id say the evo would probly take it from a roll the camaro is probly gonna pull away. if were talking 98-02 were talking a LS1 with 350 horse and 330 torque dig or roll the camaros gonna win with a good driver. evo will probably jump the LS1 off the line but camaros gonna reel him in 2nd gear

 

depends on what evo, and whats been done..

 

stock for stock, LS1 is going to take any Evo from a dig or roll. LT1 is going to be a good race from a dig, i'd give slim advantage to the LT1 from a roll.

 

stock yes, but a EVO can catch up VERY quickly, with little money, and i think the new EvoX runs a low-mid 13. also, most LS1 drivers run a low 13, not the high 12.

that low 13 in the evo is with agood driver too and for that same little money you can pump up a ls1 also not to mention that most people dont have even a little money left after getting EVO

 

mid to high 13. the X is slower than the IX

 

Being the Evo us a turbo car, it is very cheap and easy to increase boost. The LT1 has a very slim chance agaist one an LS1 is a better match.

 

Agreed. Although the initial cost is much greater and that money could be spent well on the ls1.
