Default RE: A/C question

When you open an AC system the refrigerant goes out and is replaced with humid air. The air does not help the AC but takes the place of some refrigerant, and the moisture tends to freeze inside the system, preventing it from working properly. For proper operation, all the air needs and moisture needs to be evacuated, and the receiver drier replaced. Also make sure the system is recharged with the proper type and quantityof refrigerant.
