A/C not working - not sure why
Currently my A/C is not working and I'm trying to figure out why. I just got my Camaro a few weeks ago, so I don't know the history. I do know that when I turn on the A/C the compressor doesn't kick on. The belt spins, but not the compressor. So, I looked in the manual and it seemed to indicate #6 and #16 on the fuse panel control the HVAC. I checked both fuses and they're fine. What else can I check myself before I have to take it to a shop to be diagnosed?
When it comes to A/C, my knowledge is limited, so please don't assume I've checked certain obvious things because I probably haven't
Thanks.

What I learned...
I hooked up pins 30 and 87 for the "A/C COMP" relay and the compressor fired right up. So, I know the compressor works now, YEA!!
A friend said I should now try:
1. Jump the high side switch -- if compressor comes on, it's a bad high side switch. Otherwise go to step 2.
2. Jump the low side switch -- if compressor comes on, either switch or low freon. Otherwise go to step 3.
3. Bad switch on the dash.
The trick is that I have no idea where those switches are. I've tried following the lines from the compressor and the accumulator, but I don't see any switches. Can anyone provide a diagram? Or does a 2000 Camaro work differently somehow?
