Default A/C Low Side - which one is it?

My '97's A/C is blowing warm air. I'm going to try a quick recharge myself to see if it's just low on refrigerant. The owner's manual doesn't say which valve is the low side, to connect the hose to. Does anybody on the forum know?

thanks...

The connections to the low and high side are two different sizes. The nozzle included with fill kit, should only fit on the low side.

Chrls,

dude, thats a sick looking sig. love the eye lids on that! need some black corner lenses to top it off! thats what i wanted was a black LS1 style camaro, maybe LT1, limo tint the whole thing, black chrome rims, black corner lenses, black lights. black everything and call it "reaper" (sticker on front or back window, in dark grey, maybe red)

my friend's GTO looks like that, he has 2 red stripes going down it, outlined in grey, and a NY yankees symbol on the back window, outlined in grey, everything else is black, and in the stripes, "black widow(SP?)" is airbrushed through out it.

oh, and the low side should be the one not next to the radiator, way it was on my 96.

The 'fat' hose is the low side (suction).

Don't turn the can up side down while filling the system, compressor damage may occure.

FYI: Do a search for some of my posts, I've gone into some detail on the AC systems and you'll probably find the answers to most of your questions within.
