a/c help

Default a/c help

my a/c wont kick on, anybody know how to hot wire it to get some of that refrigernt (cant spell) crap in there so i can find the leak?

You don't need the compressor running to put refrigerant in there. They have refill kits that should have everything you need.

There is a pressure switch in the line. Take the plug off, andput a jumper inthe plug. If the compressor kicks on, get a new sensor. The sensor is there to keep the compressor from running without enough refrigerant, so it doesn't burn itself up.

Same fricken issue and here in Arizona it gets !@#$ hot! AC is a must.

did any one try this? i did and mine didnt kick on?

There is a way to jumper it, obviously I told you the wrong way. I tried on mine earlier and couldn't figure it out. Though, if you have enough refrigerant in there, either A) that switch is messed up, or B) the A/C clutch is messed up.
