Default Brake Light

OK so heres the story, the other day my car took a crap and didnt wanna start, after trying a few times pumping the pedal 3-4 times, i realized there was no gas smell, long story short, no fuel , problem was i had to get it off my hill, so i put it in ACC and rolled it down the hil with no power, now my brake light is on, car moves no problem, could my emergency brake be stuck a little??? , btw replaced the fuel pump myself, by cutting a hole in my trunk !!!! lol it was an experience but im happy i did it myself , plus now i got a cool hidden door in my car lol.

Well, on fuel injected cars, pumping the pedal will not give you any more fuel than desired. The injectors are controlled by the PCM and are directly controlled by it until the engine is running.

The red brake light sees a fault in the brake system itself. Perhaps a small leak, or some uneven pressure at a certain point. Perhaps a faulty switch, too. As far as the ABS light, only an ABS scanner or scan tool can really narrow the problem down. It could be anything from the valve body to a faulty wheel speed sensor.

You may have messed up the speed sensor while moving backwards.
