Back from the dead...
I have a '96 3.8 Camaro that has been barn stored for the last 4 years. It has problems, but ran strong when it was put up. I am now in a position, time and money wise to fix it and enjoy it. The car is a keeper, the body is straight and the interior is like new. But...it won't run except for a brief instant and then it quits like the key was turned off. Then it has to sit awhile before any kind of life is evident. The gas tank is almost full of 4 year old gas, so if that is the problem (I suspect that it is at least partly to blame), what is the easiest way to drain the tank so I can start fresh? Besides that, does anyone have a suggestion on what my next place to look for a cause should be?

If you're going to rebuild it, I'd spend the extra time and drop it and clean it out.
