Default Anyone had these codes - P0175 and P0172

Been running rough for a while and today it finally threw up a code. I just made a quick stop at Autozone and had them put their scanner on it. They are getting codes from bank 1 and bank 2, says I am running to rich. So their computer said it could be several things in this order.
1 MAF(Mass Air Flow)
2 Oxygen Sensor
3 Fuel Pressure problem - note that about 2 months ago I had the fuel pump and filter replaced
4 Internal Engine Problem

So anyone had these codes before and what was the problem? At least the MAF and oxygen sensor are not that hard to change and I can probably do it myself if thats the problem.

Try a clean air filter, it may just fix all your problems. A dirty filter or restricted intake confuses the MAF into thinking that more air is flowing than really is. Also get a FI pressure gage and check the fuel pressure and pressure regulator, use the procedure in the LT1 section. Look at the O2 sensors with a scanner, the voltage should be changing at a rapid rate. If there is no change or the rate of change is slow, the sensors are bad.

Ok, I checked the filter earlierand it is really clean, I put a new one in not to long ago. Also I took off the lid and whole air intake to clean it andcheck out the MAF. Only pictures I can find of the MAF is on an LS1. So once I get the air intake system off there is a silver metalpart with a screen on itthat connects to the intake, is that whole thing the MAF? And where are the O2 sensors located on the 3.8?

The MAF is part of the air plumbing between the air filter and the throttle body, plastic cylinder with several wires and a screen inside and a connector outside. You can try cleaning the MAF and screen with cleaning fluid, but be very careful not to break any of the wires inside. There aretwo O2 sensors one on each exhaust manifold before the cat. Depending on year they may be one after the cat.

Well the car has been running rough for about a monthand sometimes dying on me. If it's just a sensor it wouldn't make it run rough would it? Also I think I saw the screen your takling about if when you pull rubber piping connected to the air intake off the screen is right there. I did notice some kind of brown stuff on the lower half of thescreen, kinda looked like oil and was liquid. And thanks Pete for the help.

Ok the white arrow shows what I pulled off. Then right there was the screen, on the bigmetal piece connected to the intake that the red arrow points to. So is that plactic piece right there MAF?
