Default any difference in v6/v8 valvetrain parts?

alright guys, im completing the valve swap.

my question is, are there any valvetrain components from an ls1 that can be used as upgrades for the v6? if so i have all my seats, seals, locks, springs, retainers, and rods from my car and will let them go cheap. if not they go to the dump

i just have no idea if the springs are stiffer or anything. although i do think they are the same size..... but i could be wrong about that too, v6 not my area of experience..... so, how about it v6 gurus?

I don't know how different (if at all) LS1 valvesprings and retainers are different from the LS6, but LS6 valvesprings and retainers will work for 3.8s. It's common for some to you them when swapping out rockers or a cam. Not surebout the 3.4though.

well, IF they are actually better, even used, than v6 parts, I have the springs, retainers, and locks, so someone could swap out all of the springs assuming the valve stem will fit in the locks. agian, dont know if it would be worth anyones time, but if this is one of those v6 cheep upgrades ill be happy to help someone out with a full set
